Seeds

Even seeds that become magificent flowers have to go through a lot of dirt to get there…

Read that off a blog I read every once in a while:  http://fostermamas.blogspot.com/

As we still plan on fostering at some point in our life whether that is this year, in 5, 10 or 20.  We would love to be foster parents.  We feel called to that, as we feel called to Colombia.  We don’t know when or how – but it’s a calling.

So I read fostering blogs.  Keeps me in the fostering loop.  As I turn around and see that my daughter has pulled out every hat, mitt and scarf we have in our baskets, not to mention picking up every shoe and placing it somewhere else than the shoe house.

Singing.  Laughing.  That’s Amaris after a good night’s sleep.
